# Step 5: Partial Cancel Quote

Provide a `booking_id` that has multiple passengers. Add the target passenger's ID (e.g., `ADT2`) to the `passengers_to_cancel` array to get a quote.

### Request Setup

<ParamField body="booking_id" type="string" required>Paste the `booking_id`.</ParamField>
<ParamField body="passengers_to_cancel" type="array" required>Array of passenger IDs (e.g., `["ADT2"]`). Leave empty `[]` if cancelling segments.</ParamField>
<ParamField body="segments_to_cancel" type="array" required>Array of segment indices (e.g., `[]` if cancelling passengers, or `[1]` to cancel the return segment).</ParamField>

### Instructions

1. Choose to cancel either specific passengers OR specific segments. Mixed mode is not permitted to maintain PNR sync across GDS/NDC.
2. Ensure you adhere to backend business rules (e.g., don't cancel an infant alone, don't break chronological segment sequences).
3. Hit the **Send** button.
